In addition to his position as CEO of MRP, he is a director of AMEXCAP, Vice-Chairman of the Mexican Association of Real Estate and Infrastructure Funds (AMFII), director of the Mexican Stock Exchange, director of Mexican Development Group S.A.B., head of private mutual funds in Mexico for The Latin America Enterprise Fund, and Chairman of Institutional Infrastructure at Telefónica México, where he is also a director.
He is Vice-Chairman of Special Olympics Mexico and professor of Microeconomics at the Autonomous Technology Institute of Mexico (ITAM).
He has been CFO of Telefónica Móviles México and CEO of Telefónica B2B; he also worked in Goldman Sachs & Co.
He worked as an aide to the Mexican Government Deputy Secretary of Finance in the Carlos Salinas administration (1988-1994).
He graduated in Economics from the Autonomous Technology Institute of Mexico (ITAM) in 1993 and holds an MBA from Stanford University.
He belongs to the Boards of Grupo México Retail Properties (MRP), MRP CKD, Retail Management Services, Asociación Mexicana de Capital Privado (AMEXCAP), Asociación Mexicana de Fondos Inmobiliarios y de Infraestructura (AMFII), Grupo Ingeniería Arquitectura y Asociados (GIA), Telefónica México (Pegaso PCS), Infraestructura Institucional and Grupo Mexicano de Desarrollo.
