One of ACCIONA's main aspirations is to turn cities into real spaces for sustainable progress. To this end, it interprets the increase in urban green spaces and the provision of maintenance and conservation services for public spaces as a necessary condition.
The corporation designs comprehensive solutions for managing the green areas of cities. In this way, it executes landscape improvement plans for municipalities and environmental impact studies on the landscape; it regenerates natural spaces with artistic value and leads maintenance management projects, amongst its main activities.
It also provides garden solutions at urban, corporate, public, and thematic level and the conservation of historical gardens, such as Madrid's historical and specially protected parks. It also runs, maintains and operates irrigation networks in cities.
